Micah Kurtz
Senior Firmware Engineer
Micah Kurtz is a Senior Firmware Engineer at Syght. He has over ten years of experience with a diverse background spanning embedded hardware and firmware, software and safety critical systems design.
Prior to joining Syght, Micah worked in the autonomous and tele-operable robotics industry. Most notably, he worked for Amazon developing safety critical collision avoidance systems for Autonomous Mobile Robots. He also worked for Phantom Auto, in which he architected and designed a complete safety system for remotely driven vehicles.
Micah has a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Arizona and a M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Northern Arizona University. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and his numerous hobbies which include mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, ice hockey, and all other mountain activities.
