Brian Magenis

Mechanical Design Engineer

Brian is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Syght, where he is responsible for enclosure, mechanical and industrial design and support of the products.  He has 10+ years of engineering and design experience with work ranging from government to start up positions.

Prior to joining Syght, Brian worked for a manufacturing and service company as a Mechanical Project Engineer transforming customer ideas into innovative, functional products.  He worked for the Dept. of Defense as a Test Engineer in the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard where he was responsible for testing all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic non-nuclear systems onboard 668 and 776 class fast attack submarines. Brian has a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University. He lives in Loveland, Colorado where he grew up. He enjoys snowboarding, dirt biking, flying, as well as building and piloting acrobatic FPV quads.
